Can you say cross training? There's nothing like running and swimming for miles at the beach for most of the summer to get you in shape for Junior Olympics. Many youth water polo players in So Cal beach communities participate in Junior Lifeguards.

Somehow water polo players seem to make the best Junior Guards, and vice versa, year after year! There's nothing like months of conditioning, scrimmaging, and egg-beater drills to get you in shape for Junior Guards!

Hundreds of Junior Guards got together recently for intense fun and games at the Carpinteria Junior Lifeguard Competition.

The USA Women's National Team celebrated the Fourth of July by defeating the Australian National Team in an exciting 13 to 12 game at the National Training Center in Los Alamitos, California. That's a lot of goals! Australia jumped ahead by a couple of goals early on but the home team came back to lead by three before giving their guests a couple back at the end.

Sharegroup links are perfect for posting on your Team Web Site rather than a bunch of gallery links. When you open your link it will show all of your team's galleries.

Sharegroups have been added to the dropdown navigation list under Photo Galleries. If you've got parents taking photos and you have enough galleries we can even create custom Sharegroups for specific teams within your Club like we have for the Santa Barbara U14 Boys.

Video! We've got it! Tired of watching teeny, blurry, 320x240 pixel YouTube stuff? We can post DVD quality 640x480 or even High Definition quality 960x540 or 1280x720 video. We can post some beautiful highlight-type videos of up to 10 minutes in DVD quality or 5 minutes in Hi Def. That may not seem like much time but check out these 14U Boys JO Qual Videos. They even look decent full-screen - less blurry than typical YouTube 'polo videos. Even the recent USA vs Italy highlight video with 29 goals that was floating around the web was just over 9 minutes. If you've got high quality videos we want them!

Masters Nationals 2008 took place in Moraga, California, with Men and Women competing in age groups from 20 to 60 .

After losing a game earlier in the week the USA Men's National Team defeated the Croatian National Team 8 to 5 at a jam packed Oaks Christian School aquatics facility in Westlake, California. 5/31/08

The USA men followed up that win with a 6 to 4 win over Australia at the Soda Aquatics Center in Moraga, California a week later. 6/7/08

The USA Premier League Championships 2008 was a great opportunity to see many of the best players in the Country, (and a visiting Canadian team) competing at Los Alamitos in one weekend. The New York Athletic Club defeated the Newport Water Polo Foundation 11 to 7 to win the Championship game.

The San Diego County Cup 2008 is one of the biggest age group tourneys in the Country. They are great hosts! This year they had 148 teams with over 2,000 players competing in 4th grade coed, 6th grade boys and girls divisions, and two divisions each of 8th grade boys and girls.

Ventura League is a popular coed league with 12U, 14U DI & DII divisions. Games are played at Ventura College, Oxnard High School, and Rio Mesa High School.
