It's been my good fortune to be involved in water polo in many ways over the years as a player, coach, referee, parent, and (most of all) as a fan.

The idea for MWPP came about when I thought about how many pictures are being taken at games by fans and professionals. I've seen some great shots but they're not easy to find. As a coach I've seen numerous parents and fans taking pictures of my own players, but I rarely ever see them.

One of the parents took pictures of our team at Junior Olympics in 2006, and then thankfully gave us all copies. Otherwise I never would have seen the one at the left. It's one of my favorite pictures with the team.

Pictures fuel our memories and spark our emotions. They're a great way to share and chronicle an event for those who weren't there. Now we've got one central place to easily share our water polo photos right after the games and for years to come. And.. it's free! Who wouldn't want to see highlights from the last game or tourney blasted across the screen? I love to see the action photos full-screen.

In June of 2008 we added video capability. We can now feature beautiful DVD or Hi Def quality highlight videos. No need for teeny, blurry videos any more. We also added a page for News, Updates, and History of MWPP. Check it out!

Photos are reviewed for appropriate content prior to posting on the site, and steps have been taken to protect them from being downloaded without the photographer's permission. Galleries can even be password protected if desired, for restricted access, though we recommend sharing with everyone.

Your club or school can even benefit from sharing game photos! Most of the posted pictures may be purchased as quality prints, photo gift items, and even digital downloads. How about using MWPP as a fundraiser for the team?

This is a great place for the pros to show off their skills as well - with lots of visitors checking out their stuff.

As a photographer I consider myself a serious enthusiast, with an occasional awesome pic among a bunch of blurry action shots, stirring memories and raising adrenaline levels. How about you?
